Voice Placements (Returning Singers)

Voice Placements for returning singers will be held during the general audition times at USF.  Please contact The Master Chorale office to set up your appointment.

Voice placements are not auditions.  Returning singers must make an appointment, but do not need to prepare a song.  Returning singers should come prepared to purchase your music with check or cash.

Annual Voice Placements and auditions are necessary for The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay to sustain the high music quality that defines our organization.  At the beginning of each season, the Music & Artistic Director needs to hear each singer, each year to access each individual members:

a) vocal growth;
b) vocal needs;
c) tone quality;
d) range and tessitura;
e) sight reading abilities;
f) individual special needs or concerns.

This evaluation process, which is common practice in the profession, will continue to achieve the highest standards for both repertoire and performance, which produces our number one core value Artistic Excellence.
