USF FESTIVAL OF VOICES
About the Festival
The USF Festival of Voices, now in its ninth season, is an outreach program for local
and regional high school
choral students. Patterned after the popular USF Festival of Winds, the
Festival of Voices is a premier honors choir experience for promising
young choral musicians.
The Festival of Voices offers two choirs for student participants:
Festival Mixed Chorus under the direction of USF Director of Choral
Activities, Dr. Richard Zielinski, and Festival Women's Chorus directed by USF
Coordinator for Choral Music Education, Dr. Lynne Gackle.
The Festival Mixed Chorus is joined by the USF Chamber Singers and the
Festival Women's Chorus will be joined by the USF Bel Canto Women's Chorus
giving Festival participants a unique opportunity to sing along side with
USF collegiate singers.
The Festival Choirs will also perform combined with The Master Chorale of
Tampa Bay.
