December 27 at 4:00 pm - Messiah and More
Dazzling vocal solos, instrumental fireworks, and splendid choral writing make Handel’s Messiah a beloved holiday tradition. Experience the majesty of this work with a guided tour through Messiah highlights, including the incomparable "Hallelujah" chorus, as well as Christmas favorites performed by The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay.

Transport your mind to the spectacular Nordic landscape with sublime music featuring The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, along with string quartet, piano, and soloists. Featuring works by contemporary composers Ola Gjeilo, Kim Andre Arnesen, and Jake Runestad, this program explores choral works about hope in the darkest times of life. This program features an exclusive, live video recording of a concert presented in 2016.

Program #3: Upon These Shores


PROGRAM DETAILS:
Since the inception of the United States of America our country has been sought out as a safe haven, a land of opportunity and a birthplace of invention and art. The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay explores this most American of ideals through the live-streamed video presentation of Upon These Shores, a concert featuring music of and about the immigrant experience in America. This program includes music from many genres including classical, Broadway, American songbook, and commissions by renowned American composers Dale Warland and Jake Runestad.
